I don't know if this is something on my end only but oddly for some reason I cannot get my client to connect nor can I access the main page or the wiki...is anyone else having this same problem? It feels too weird.

Maybe it's you, maybe it's fixed already but I just logged in and I've accessed the main GW page. Didn't try the wiki after the first two worked.

Last night I DC'd and havent been able to log in since then. As soon as I punch in my pw I get this:

"Guild Wars was unable to find the server address because a DNS(Domain Name Server)request failed. Please try again and if this problem persists, visit the Guild Wars support website.(Code=026)"

I wonder if...IF my lowsy isp is somehow blocking access to all GW related stuff...

My isp by the way is TalkTalk

My client wont even load up, staying at 0% (Connecting to host) for the past few hours. It isn't my internet connection so I hope this clears up. :/

Still, just seems strange that it was working fine until about an hour or so ago...and for it to affect the wiki AND the main site too...

DNS is usually populate dynamically (automatically), so it'll take some time before it is re entered in the DNS's table, which is usually a small text file, lol.

I've had the same problem all day. Both the wiki and the game have been acting up for me. Though I usually can get into the wiki by refreshing the page.

As for playing the game, I've tried waiting to see if it loads fully (I get to the Log In screen, then "Guild Wars was unable to find the server address because a DNS(Domain Name Server)request failed. Please try again and if this problem persists, visit the Guild Wars support website.(Code=026)" pops up when I enter my pass), or closing GW and repeatedly opening the game. It works on occasion.

I have been fine ALL evening and just started getting it like... 10 min ago after closed the game fora bit

i had the same problem. it seems its only an issue with connecting to login. once you login, you're safe.

so i just keep trying to login for 5min and it works.

It seems if you close the game you're screwed if you try to get back on

It's obviously a DNS server thats on a specific side of one of anet's ISP's since only a pocket of people can't get on.
